GPost is an iPAWS verified app that uses your location to disseminate alerts. The Integrated Public Alert & Warning System (IPAWS) is FEMA's national system for local alerting that provides authenticated emergency and life-saving information to the public. Discreetly communicate with friends, neighbors, to the local officials in real-time to report trouble spots and crimes in your community.

GPost records no data from the IP of where the app was downloaded. Although GPost records a cell phone and address, GPost does not ask for your name during registration. This adds to the privacy of the end user while allowing them to take full advantage of the platform.

• Choose your Watch Zones and get alerts any time any where

• See and share area happenings with the “Nearby” geo-targeted social feed. The Nearby Feature automatically sends information directly to the City Council person, Borough President, US Senator, State Senator, US Congress People responsible for the area it was posted from, including the Mayor using the public email for each office when the Safety Checkbox is checked. This information will be categorized for public viewing

• Efficiently connect with your emergency contacts immediately arming them with important geographical information for first responders
